Usage Description
A common malfunction in LPG systems is the seizing of the gas valve plunger in the reducer. This often occurs due to contaminated gas containing oil fractions. As the gas flows through, it leaves behind deposits on the plunger and inside the housing. Over time, these deposits form a layer that can immobilize the plunger.
Typical symptom: The system fails to switch to gas mode, even when the reducer is warm. The system automatically switches back to petrol.
In such cases, the solenoid valve assembly (plunger) should be replaced.
