Application Description
The EG AVANCE 48.4 DUAL JET controller is designed for converting vehicles with 3- and 4-cylinder engines equipped with indirect "Dual MPI" fuel injection systems to LPG operation. In such engines, two gasoline injectors per cylinder (mounted in the intake manifold) supply fuel individually.
These systems are commonly found in modern vehicles with indirect injection, such as Suzuki and Nissan (where each injector pair per cylinder is controlled by a separate signal), as well as Kia and Hyundai (where each injector is individually controlled). The EG AVANCE 48.4 DUAL JET calculates the gasoline injection dose in such a way that, during gas operation, each cylinder is powered by only one gas injector.
This solution significantly simplifies the conversion of such engines, as it eliminates the need for additional intake manifold drilling, doubling the number of gas injectors, or using external gasoline injection emulators. The controller's compatibility with a wide range of OBD protocols facilitates calibration, enables real-time monitoring of key OBD parameters, and allows for error code clearing.
The system also includes support for gasoline injection under load and fuel pump shutoff based on time. Software allows for wireless communication via Bluetooth and WiFi with a PC or Android device running the EG MOVI app.
