Product Application:
The STAG Diesel system is an alternative fuel supply method for diesel engines.

The system is based on modern technical solutions that enable the dosing of gaseous fuel together with air, which then mixes with diesel fuel inside the cylinder.

STAG Diesel does not exclude driving solely on diesel fuel, as the gas installation does not require any modifications to the internal structure of the engine.

During engine operation, the controller intelligently manages the fuel dosing process by reading signals from the exhaust gas temperature sensor, knock sensor, and lambda probe.

An advanced sequential injection algorithm and an innovative self-adaptation system ensure the proper mixture throughout the engine’s operating range, allowing the user to quickly experience measurable economic benefits.

Engine Power Increase:
The dual-fuel LPG/CNG technology releases energy from previously unused diesel resources.

With proper calibration of the gas installation to the vehicle, it is possible to achieve a significant increase in power and torque—within the range of 10% to 30%—while simultaneously lowering operating costs and improving engine efficiency.

In a diesel engine with mechanical injection, gas is injected into the intake manifold, improving diesel combustion and burning additional gas, which results in increased engine power.

To maintain the same driving parameters, the driver simply presses the accelerator pedal less, thereby saving diesel fuel—commonly referred to as “saving by adding.”

The driver has a choice: either drive calmly to enjoy fuel savings or use the additional engine power for higher performance and tangible benefits.

In common rail engines, the operating principle is the same, but it also allows for power limitation by emulating the signal from the “CR” sensor (high-pressure sensor on the common rail).

The vehicle’s ECU detects the correct diesel pressure, but the actual pressure is lower.

This option makes it possible to maintain similar vehicle performance (power, torque) as with pure diesel operation, while achieving significant diesel fuel savings.
