Engine power increase: LPG up to 6%, CNG up to 15%
-
Increased safety of older-generation gas installations by reducing the risk of backfire in the intake manifold
Application:
The KME TAPO is a microprocessor-controlled device designed for both modern and older gasoline engines running on LPG or CNG. It adjusts the ignition timing advance angle to increase combustion efficiency and improve overall engine performance.
Due to the higher octane rating of LPG and CNG and the longer combustion time of the air-gas mixture, it is necessary to adapt the ignition system by using the KME TAPO emulator.
