Application description
A common failure in LPG systems is seizure of the reducer gas valve plunger. This occurs because contaminated gas contains oily fractions. Flowing gas leaves part of these oils on the plunger and inside the pin. As they accumulate, they form a layer that over time can cause the plunger to become immobilized. The symptom indicating this issue is the inability to switch to gas operation, even when the reducer is warm. The system automatically switches back to petrol. In such a case, the solenoid valve assembly (pin) should be replaced.
