Application Details
A common malfunction in LPG systems is the seizing of the gas valve plunger in the reducer. This issue arises because contaminated gas contains oil fractions. As the gas flows through the system, it leaves some of these oils on the plunger and inside the valve stem. Over time, these deposits form a layer that can cause the plunger to become stuck.
The typical symptom of this failure is the inability to switch to gas mode, even when the reducer is warm. In such cases, the system automatically switches back to petrol. When this happens, the solenoid valve assembly (valve stem) must be replaced.
