Application Description
The TECH-320 OBD series consists of microprocessor controllers housed in an aluminum case with a traditional 56-pin connector. These controllers are designed for engines with up to 4, 6, or 8 cylinders (depending on the version). It is also possible to connect two controllers in parallel, enabling gas flow control for engines with 10, 12, 14, or 16 cylinders. The compact enclosure, measuring 190 x 125 x 30 mm, allows for installation in tight spaces.
The TECH-320 OBD controllers include all the functions and protections of the standard TECH-320 series, ensuring excellent quality and performance. Additionally, the TECH-320 OBD series supports communication protocols such as CAN (11/500; 29/500; 11/250; 29/500), ISO 14230 slow, ISO 14230 fast, and ISO 9141. The same wiring harness is used regardless of the protocol implemented.
Another advantage is the ability to use the controller as an OBD scanner, which allows not only reading corrections and faults but also accessing vehicle operating parameters provided by the OBD system.
The TECH-320 OBD series offers an automatic error clearing feature (up to 8 errors). The controller automatically clears errors previously entered in the table. If other faults occur, clearing is prevented, ensuring the check engine light notifies the driver to check the engine system.
When connected to the vehicle's diagnostic system, the TECH-320 OBD collects maps of injection time correction values for both petrol and gas. When OBD adaptation is enabled, the system automatically adjusts the fuel mixture to minimize deviations between maps, achieving optimal vehicle tuning. The advanced auto-adaptation function guarantees trouble-free operation of the gas system by continuously monitoring system performance and correcting gas injection times as needed.
