Application Description:
A common failure in gas installations is seizure of the reducer valve piston. This occurs because contaminated gas contains oil fractions.
Flowing gas deposits some of these oils on the piston and inside the plunger. Over time, this forms a layer that can immobilize the piston.
Symptoms include the inability to switch to gas even when the reducer is warm. In such cases, the system automatically switches to gasoline. The plunger assembly (electrovalve) must then be replaced.
