Application Description
The TECH-320 OBD series consists of microprocessor controllers housed in an aluminum case with a traditional 56-pin connector. These controllers are designed for engines with up to 4, 6, or 8 cylinders (depending on the version). It is also possible to connect two controllers in parallel, allowing gas flow control in engines with 10, 12, 14, or 16 cylinders. The compact housing, measuring 190 x 125 x 30 mm, enables installation in hard-to-reach locations.
The TECH-320 OBD controllers include all functions and protections of the standard TECH-320 series, ensuring excellent quality and performance. Additionally, the TECH-320 OBD series supports communication protocols such as CAN (11/500; 29/500; 11/250; 29/500), ISO 14230 slow, ISO 14230 fast, and ISO 9141. The same wiring harness is used regardless of the protocol.
Another advantage is the ability to use the controller as an OBD scanner, allowing not only reading of corrections and faults but also access to vehicle operating parameters provided by the OBD system.
The TECH-320 OBD series enables automatic clearing of up to 8 stored error codes. The controller automatically clears predefined errors but retains other faults to ensure the check engine light alerts the driver to any engine system issues.
When connected to the vehicle’s diagnostic system, TECH-320 OBD collects injection time correction maps for both petrol and gas modes. When OBD adaptation is enabled, the system automatically modifies the fuel mixture to minimize deviations between the maps, achieving optimal vehicle tuning. The advanced auto-adaptation feature guarantees trouble-free operation by continuously monitoring the system and correcting gas injection times as necessary.
